Dowling Catholic Maroons Football Update – June 2025
As of May 2025, the Dowling Catholic Maroons varsity football team is gearing up for what promises to be another exciting season. The annual parent meeting was held on Monday, May 5, where Coach Tom Wilson released the summer schedule for team training and position-specific workouts.
Returning Maroons
Based on the 2024 Varsity roster, the Maroons will return a solid group, giving the team valuable experience and depth heading into the new season:
Returning Varsity Players (2025 Grade Levels):
24 players entering their senior year (Class of 2026)
6 players entering their junior year (Class of 2027)
6 players entering their sophomore year (Class of 2028)
Coaching Staff
The program remains under the experienced leadership of Head Coach Tom Wilson, entering his 21st season at the helm. Coach Wilson is known not only for his winning record but also for building a team culture rooted in love, loyalty, and integrity, with a strong emphasis on Team First values.
